UCalgary SPP 2019 - Any alumni, current students, or prospective students lurking?

Hello everyone! I've just accepted an offer to UCalgary's School of Public Policy and I couldn't be more excited! I was just wondering if anyone could answer a question about internship availability. The program states it sets students up to complete summer internships. How competitive are these internships? 

If you're an alumni or current student, how satisfied are you with the program? I'm having a hard time contacting anyone who has experience with UCalgary's MPP and would love to hear about the pros and cons generally of this program.
