kbatulli Posted February 22, 2008 Posted February 22, 2008 Mainly for Humanities people-- How many of you, who have received acceptance offers, were contacted by a prof? Is that more common than simply receiving postal mail without having a prof. make contact either by phone or email beforehand?
Southeast Penn Posted February 22, 2008 Posted February 22, 2008 Here's the breakdown I've seen on acceptances this year: 1 Prof email 1 Prof phone call 1 thin envelope, single letter 1 9" by 11" envelope, big packet of stuff Similarly, my rejections have come from either automated emails or just by checking the school websites (I assume the thin letter will follow within a month). So I guess anything is possible.
sarah4153 Posted February 22, 2008 Posted February 22, 2008 Good to know, but I don't care how I hear - just so I hear. :-D
sammileaht Posted February 22, 2008 Posted February 22, 2008 So far: Rejections: 1. Happened to check status website that said I was denied 2. thin letter in postal mail - not updated on website 3.
