Hi all,

I'm wondering if anybody has experience with the MAGES (Masters in German and European Studies) program at Georgetown SFS. I'm personally quite interested in the EU and have always focused my studies around it, but I'm wondering if it's worth getting such a specific degree instead of the standard MSFS degree? On the one hand, the curriculum looks extremely interesting and pretty much exactly the sorts of courses I would love to take. On the other hand, obviously grad school is an important investment, and I don't want to unnecessarily pigeonhole myself with a degree that will not offer the same sorts of career opportunities. Assuming for discussion's sake that both degrees were an option, is there a clear better choice?

Would love to hear input from anybody with knowledge on this topic, thanks!
