Gandalf Posted February 22, 2008 Posted February 22, 2008 Just saw a lot of "waitlist" status on UCSD Computer science applications on the results page, so I'm just wondering if any of you who are wait listed can share your profile... I really thought I would get an admit, but got turned down. My profile: UG GPA: 3.7, MS from top 10 school in US, GPA: 4.0, GRE 1350, 1 ACM publication.

My profile: UG GPA: 3.95, MS from top 10 school, GPA: 3.9, GRE 1320, 6 International publication, 2+ year industrial research experience my area of interest, Couple of patents filed Well i have also been turned down at four other univs where i had high hopes to get an admit. As of now i have no admits and only waitlist []. These blows hurt bad to wht is left of little self confidence. I seriously wonder wht is need to make to the admit list :!: :!: :!: . Lets hope i find out soon. All the best to us all who still have not been blessed with even one admit []
canuck Posted February 25, 2008 Posted February 25, 2008 This was not in CS but my impression was that UCSD had very little money for international students and thus probably took very few.
