kwangmp Posted March 20, 2019 Posted March 20, 2019 (edited) Hi. I am studying abroad, and considering to apply for the Phd programs of statistics or biostat in US this year. The point is that I've recently taken the general GRE test last weekend, and got V 160, Q 165. Do you think I should retake the exam to ensure higher possibility of getting admission? Would I get rejected if I submit with this score? Up until now, I got grade A for all the courses of Calculus, Linear Algebra, and Real Analysis(undergrad). Many thanks. bayessays Posted March 20, 2019 Posted March 20, 2019 No, absolutely no reason to do that. redburned and kwangmp 2
kwangmp Posted March 20, 2019 Author Posted March 20, 2019 Thanks for the reply. I saw in some posts that most top schools suggest 90 percentile quant score, which is 166, as a cutoff score. And that was why I was wondering if I would get rejected directly with this current score. ?
jjjbt1954 Posted March 20, 2019 Posted March 20, 2019 No, with that score and your grades, absolutely not. kwangmp 1
