arzgania Posted April 7, 2019 Posted April 7, 2019 (edited) I was recently admitted to Georgia Tech's MSCS on-campus program and I'm extremely grateful for this opportunity. However, I've read a few forum posts (through Reddit and other areas) where people have expressed concern that GT's OMSCS program is devaluating the institution's MSCS degree as a whole. Am I being overly paranoid to be concerned about these rumors? I imagine I can write "On-campus" or something along those lines on my resume to distinguish myself from online students, but if everyone and their mother is getting a GT degree then I'm worried if it's even worth going ? Please be as harsh / real with me as possible if I'm being overly paranoid / idiotic with this concern. It's the biggest thing (other than finding enough funding as a MS student) that's holding me back from attending right now. Thank you! Edited April 7, 2019 by arzgania
