joycetx Posted August 8, 2019 Posted August 8, 2019 Hey, I feel stuck in no man's land with my GRE score, and I am not really sure what to do. My undergrad GPA is a 3.8 and my M.A. in history GPA is 3.9. I was thinking of applying to either a philosophy PhD or something in education (I've taught for the past 8 years). I'm not concerned with any other parts of the application, but I don't want a low quant score to hold me back. Ideally, I would like to go to the University of Colorado. Overall, I'm not sure if I should retake the GRE in hopes to raise that quant a few points (at most I think I could reach 157), or does the quant really matter for a degree in the humanities? Any advice would be helpful, Tom
