Cheers every waiting-out applicant!

I just found that someone got admission notifying e-mail(unofficial e-mail from contacted faculty) from applied physics program of the SEAS in Harvard.

As far as I know, Harvard SEAS does not send their decisions to their applicants via e-mail not to mention of phone.

If the decisions will be sent only via postal mail, when can I know my application status? about mid March?

And do the most of postal mails correspond to the rejection? Do you know any case of admission delivered by postal mail?

I appreciate your kind information on the above questions.

I'm too much devastated to wait.

Some folks have reported acceptances from Applied Physics and a couple of other fields in SEAS (check out the "Harvard SEAS" thread). I myself applied to Applied Math in Harvard SEAS, but am yet to hear back--which is a nuisance because it is the only place that I have not heard back from yet. However, you seem to have received an offer from MIT, so why worry about Harvard? Isnt MIT applied physics better than Harvard's?
