TDHG Posted August 31, 2019 Posted August 31, 2019 I am looking to apply to PhD programs this cycle, but am having trouble coming up with a realistic list of schools to apply to. My Profile: Academic 3.4 Overall GPA, BS in Biology Oakland University, MS in Chemical Biology University of Michigan Research Exp 1 Year cancer research studying ion transporters and membrane channels at OU. One third author pub. 1 Year flu vaccine research at Umich. 2 Years research in a vascular bio lab at Umich. 3 Strong LORs from great faculty members. I am looking to apply to most of the schools in-state, but I am unsure which out of state programs I have a realistic shot at. Thanks for any help and advice you can offer as I finish making my list of schools to apply to. Thanks!
Changfeng Chen Posted October 14, 2019 Posted October 14, 2019 Wow, most people here have papers. I don't have any papers and none of the projects I participated in is ready for publication, and I am not allowed to talk about them since they are unpublished. Panic monster is taking my mind.?
TDHG Posted October 23, 2019 Author Posted October 23, 2019 I know many people who have been accepted to great programs who do not have previous publications. I'm sure you'll do great!
