Hello all,

I am a 28 year old professional with an undergraduate degree in poli sci. I'm interested in pursuing a masters in public policy or international relations, and am quite attracted to the experiential model of the School for International Training (SIT) in Vermont. I'd prefer to get their hands-on education, with a degree in one year and for much cheaper than a conventional masters program.

My question is - will this degree be worth anything? Does anyone in the field have any insight on how SIT is perceived by perspective employers? Particularly by employers in the government and nonprofit sector (think Washington, D.C.). Any insight is helpful.

Here is the degree I'm considering: https://graduate.sit.edu/academics/masters-degree-programs/master-of-arts-in-humanitarian-assistance-and-crisis-management/

Many thanks,

Mark
