I have been working on my thesis for 5 months now and I feel like I am still stuck with trying to prove that the approach I am using to answer my research question would work. When I shared my idea with my supervisors, none of them questioned how my approach would work and they have little knowledge on the model that I am selecting. I have been relying on the online community to seek for answers and some of them were very kind to help but I am still not very clear on how to move forward. When I had a discussion with my professor recently, he seemed satisfied with my progress but he is also not able to fully guide me on whether the track that I have chosen should be reconsidered or not. Has anyone had experiences where you had to conclude your thesis by saying that the approach chosen may have not been the correct one after all?
