Quant_or_die Posted October 9, 2019 Posted October 9, 2019 Hello all, I am currently enrolled as a first year in a MA program with eventual plans to enter a doctoral program. However, quant 1 isn’t going to hot for me. I’m looking at averaging somewhere in the B-/B range. I’m interested in American Politics (public opinion, stereotypes, voter behavior, etc.), and wanted to know how my potential quant 1 grade might affect my doctoral admissions trajectory, all else equal. I’m currently sitting with high As in my other courses. I know this is largely speculative (as any other attribute of my application can affect admissions) but I wanted to see if anyone had any insight into how admissions look at quant grades overall for applicants applying with graduate school experience, all else equal. Thank you!
