Hi,

I got admit from Michigan Ann Arbor and UPenn and UC-Irvine in MS of EE. I have interest in telecommunications and signal processing. In UPenn there is a dedicated track for commnucations (TCOM program) but in Michigan there is a flexibility in selection of courses and a strong faculty resources. It seems that Irvine is in a IT industry dense place. Colorado admit me as phd student, but I may change it into M.S. program.

Also, Penn is an Ivy League Univ. Does Ivy league branding matters?

On the other hand, Michigan Ann Arbor is much higher in ranking than Penn in EE.

So could you guys help me so that i can make a decision... btw, I want to seek a job in telecommunication industry.

pls elaborate on (placement, research, profs interaction, campus jobs, internships)

many thanx!!

The reputation of the department is important, the fact that the school belongs to a certain athletic conference does not.
