ssoenksen Posted November 18, 2019 Posted November 18, 2019 Hi all, I studies social sciences but 7 years have passed since my M.A. After considering this for a long time, I'd like to approach a (late) PhD. However, I feel quite outdated regarding the discipline and thus would like not to directly jump into a PhD but first "re-socialize" myself with a research-oriented Masters programme. Since I'm full-time working and also living abroad (in Asia), it will have to be a distance-learning approach. Apart from the OpenUniversity and the German equivalent (FernUniversität), do you guys have any hints towards such programmes? Would be very much appreciated. Thanks, Sebastian
terefere Posted November 20, 2019 Posted November 20, 2019 What is your goal? Is it simply taking some classes to get the "back in school" feeling or is it to actually influence your chances of getting into a phd program?
