Emma M. Posted November 19, 2019 Posted November 19, 2019 (edited) Hi all! I took the GRE in late October and got kind of a meh score (155 Verbal, 149 Quant, 3.5 Writing). However, I have a good GPA (3.91 on a 4.0 scale), a lot of research experience (first author on manuscripts accepted for publication, part of a lot of projects now and in the past, many professional & student presentations), and a good rapport with my top two choices for PhD mentors. Do I stand a chance? I'm taking the GRE again on November 27th, but the deadline is December 2nd so I doubt those scores will be received in time. (Background: Senior undergrad applying for a PhD in Cognitive Sciences at Georgia State) Thanks! ❤️ Edited November 19, 2019 by Emma M.
