BC08 Posted February 26, 2008 Posted February 26, 2008 So far my graduate application process has resembled the final moments of Gallipoli. Since I'm already in the Boston area, I've been thinking of getting a job at Harvard after graduating from BC and working on an ALM in History. Is this a decent option to get me where I want to go, or am I better off going back into the pile this fall? It says in the program literature that their graduates have attended HYPC PhD programs, so I'm very intrigued.
historygirl Posted February 26, 2008 Posted February 26, 2008 You've only got answers on 2 or 3 of your applications. You applied to eight schools. As hard as it is, maybe you should exercise a little patience.
BC08 Posted February 26, 2008 Author Posted February 26, 2008 Thanks, getting 2 rejections in 24 hours blew things a little out of proportion. I'm still curious about the Harvard thing though! 8)
Cornell07 Posted February 26, 2008 Posted February 26, 2008 BC08 Dare I say you've applied to a wide range of schools and the two who have rejected you thusfar are some of the most competitive ones on that list. As we used to say in Boston "Calm ya livah!"
