Congrats to everyone who got accepted! I learned from the DGS that whether they can take people off the wait list depends as much on *when* they hear accepted students are going elsewhere as on *how many* say no; apparently if other departments are oversubscribed by the time they get a "no" back, the university forces them to just give up those spots. So if, by any chance, you happen to have a school that's a strictly better fit than Harvard, know that there's at least one person out there who'd get a lot out of you letting them know that sooner than later ??
Hugotarian Posted March 11, 2020 Posted March 11, 2020 Anyone know for sure where they'll be next year? We're a small field, so I'd love to keep up with everyone
eloiwy Posted March 11, 2020 Posted March 11, 2020 I am accepting at UB since their offer was far and away the best I had.
