mrsir1994 Posted January 13, 2020 Posted January 13, 2020 After an interview with a POI, I sent a thank you letter to express interest. The professor replied" thank you for your interest and i enjoyed talking to you.". Does this mean I am rejected? The sentence" thank you for your interest" sounds a lot like the start of a rej letter. Any reply is appreciated.
ydzhu Posted January 14, 2020 Posted January 14, 2020 I think you're reading too much into the professor's response. It sounds to me like your interview went well. Best of luck!
splitmcsplit Posted January 14, 2020 Posted January 14, 2020 It doesn't mean anything. It could be they enjoyed talking to you (because they replied), it could mean they are just being polite, etc. etc.
