Invited to EPFL for an on-site interview

Hello everyone, is there anyone knowing how it works at EPFL regarding PhD application? Cuz I got admitted to the doctoral school a month ago, but the definitive admission depends on whether you can find a supervisor with fundings. Then I got a Skype interview with a prospective supervisor who is now inviting me to an on-site interview in Switzerland, and they will cover the expense. My question is that since I have got through the Skype interview and got invited to Switzerland, would there still be  strict screening, or it would just be like an informal chat to see if you matched with the group's atmosphere and members? Would it still be very competitive and still got the rate to get rejected? Thanks!
