Boston University Interview

Hi everyone!

I recently got an interview to Boston University. In the email they sent out, it stated that it was "highly recommended o do an in-person interview, but if you couldn't come to campus, Skype interviews are available".

I am currently in South Bend, Indiana finishing my undergrad degree, am on an athletic team, and have a job coaching figure skating, so it is not very convenient to fly. However, I do not want to hurt my chances of getting in so I am thinking about flying out to Boston. Does anybody know if your chances are higher when doing an in-person interview vs. Skype? Has anyone done either of the interviews before?

Any information would be great!
