Hello everyone! I am a current BSW (Bachelor of Social Work) student currently applying to advanced standing programs. I am applying to University of Denver with a close friend of mine and if everything falls into place we will be attending University of Denver for our masters. We currently attend school in New Jersey so we would be moving out there which would mean having to pay for rent and everything else. I am applying to AS programs locally as well since UD is somewhat of a pipe dream lol. For anyone that has experienced moving out of state for their masters how did you manage finding a job and working while going into an advanced standing program (or just grad school in general)? This whole deal definitely sounds naive, but I just want to see other perspectives and see just how realistic it could be. Thanks!
