RY01 Posted February 10, 2020 Posted February 10, 2020 Undergraduate students majoring in Business or in the Sciences should not be required to take any courses in the Humanities since those courses won’t benefit their future careers. Write a response to the prompt in which you discuss whether or not you agree or disagree. Be certain to fully develop your position and carefully consider ways in which your position could be challenged. My answer: People learn from the mistakes of the past, his literature or culture encourages him to move forward. To succeed in life Humanities have a vital role in a person's life. With the advancement of technologies, people come to know that the field of Science and Business is an abundant source of knowledge. So, many arise that as if it is not beneficial to learn Humanities for a student taking Science or Business as a major, it should be elicited from the science courses. Science is a vast field of knowledge. A student requires immense knowledge to succeed in this area. Taking Humanities courses in undergrad will definitely kill some time that he can spend exploring different precious books of science and several Business guides if he is from the Business background. In this case, seemingly the humanities courses are not required. Humanities is a stock that contains knowledge mainly including histories, art, literature, etc. If a person succeeded in his life but didn't know about his ancestors will be a shame for him. At this point, if we observe for a student who is a scholar of his field (Sciences or Business) but didn't know how his country became independent and how they grab their cultures throughout history. At that time, it became a kind of moral principle for every person to gather knowledge about history, literature or art. So, it is important to take at least some basics courses of humanities. It is required for a student majoring in science or business to learn about humanities though it seems as not resourceful in his area.
