Applied to MA/PhD track but wrote "want to pursue a Master's degree" in PS

I applied to some MA/PhD track programs in English, but at the beginning and end of my personal statement I used "Master's degree" to refer to the degree I want to pursue. Does anyone know if it will affect my results? Especially for those programs that do not provide a terminal MA degree, will they just refuse my application because I don't show the clear and direct goal to pursue PhD??

 

ps: One of the MA/PhD programs I applied to just offers me a terminal MA degree. Could I just email them to ask if it is resulted from my personal statement?
