Hello,

I've been admitted into both University of Delaware and George Mason University PhD Programs in Computer Science and while I'm still waiting to hear back from other schools, it is very likely going to come down to these two schools.

My interest is in Machine Learning and Bioinformatics. I feel like George Mason Computer Science department might be better overall but UDel seems to have better research opportunities in my field.

Funding aside (U Del funding decisions are not made yet), what are the pros and cons of each programs? I like the central location of University of Delaware and the campus seems nice but I'd like to have more information about the quality of the classes taught there and the research opportunities these two offer.

Thank you !
