Counseling Psychology Masters: How possible is it for international students to get postgraduate supervision?

Hi all, 

Specific question to those of who have done a Masters in Counseling Psychology (e.g. an MHC). Because counseling masters require supervised postgraduate jobs in order to get licensed, I'm trying to figure out if  international students will have trouble getting those jobs for visa reasons. Like would the sites offering these supervised postgraduate jobs offer work visas? My goal is to practice counseling and to be in the US with my partner, but getting a Masters in Counseling in the US would be useless if I can't get the supervised postgraduate job to get my license. Does anyone know how possible it is for international folk?
