While there is a thread for stats and where people did and did not get in, there isn't a good place to tell everyone what you have decided on. So, why don't you put 1) where you have decided to attend and 2) why you decided to attend that program. I think it is really interesting to see where people are ending up and why, and now that April 15th is essentially here, most people should be decided.

Did you want to start? :)

I'm attending Carnegie Mellon's Heinz school for the MSPPM - DC track. I can't believe I actually made a decision - sending in the deposit and turning down the last few schools almost gave me a panic attack. What about you?

I've enrolled at Georgetown Public Policy Institute for their MPP program. Their curriculum is very quant heavy and they have partnerships with a lot of international universities around the globe. Plus, I've lived in DC for 11 years, and I didn't really want to leave the area, so it was the perfect fit for me.

Headed to the LBJ School at The University of Texas for my MPAff. Hoping for the MPAff/MBA Dual Degree.

I'm attending the Maxwell School at Syracuse University for the joint MPA-MAIR program. In the end I was choosing between Maxwell and the GPPI and I decided -- yes maybe I'm crazy and will regret this when I'm buried in snow -- I'd rather be in a small city. I've been in huge cities for the past 8 years.. really didn't want to deal with commuting again and the Georgetown neighborhood ain't cheap!. Also I felt that the Maxwell School's program is more practical for the kinds of jobs I want to get. Finally I think the benefits of the "Maxwell Mafia" will be very useful and the international opportunities are better at Maxwell. It was a tough choice though because the GPPI has a wealth of interesting classes and the money was the same. Current students I spoke to at both schools were very positive about their experiences.
