Hi! I am choosing a grad-school program focusing on digital product design, UX/UI design as my future career. I have a science and marketing background, and I've been working in tech industry in the bay area for the past three years. I am going to grad school as I am interested in a career change and get more client-project in school. Now I am choosing between Pratt IXD (with scholarship) and Northwestern EDI program. Anyone has any tips?

Have heard some not-so-great things about Pratt IXD. I visited there myself and the entire program is on one floor of their Manhattan campus. It felt pretty isolated and very small to spend 2 years there, plus there's no open design space or anything like that. Northwestern has a massive alumni pool and their name recognition is very strong, and I think would give better networking / facilities. I would have applied to EDI myself but you had to have engineering background, which I don't have.
