UBC graduate housing

Hi all! Is anyone familiar with UBC's graduate housing? Or decently affordable places off-campus? Ideally, I want to be in a place that's affordable (or as affordable as you can get in Vancouver...) and quiet, not near any party houses, etc. Any places you'd recommend or advise against?

Same here. I am newbie. I am looking for house atm. Don't know all of them are avalable from April/May with 12 months contract, appearantly Fall sem start from Aug/Sept. Any advice from current UBC grad will be helpful!!!
