UPenn MSE in CIS

Hi All, 

I am very excited to receive an admit from UPenn MSE program in Computer and Information Science.

1. I want to ask how is the Computer Science department at UPenn and how is it compared with Columbia University. Which area of computer science are they most famous for? 

2. Also, could any seniors share some insights on job placement upon graduation? How is the chance to get a job/internship at Silicon Valley or New York.
