Hey, y'all! First time using this forum. Been trying to search for any information regarding MFA studio programs on here, but have not found very much.
I'm a current accepted applicant at UPenn's MSW program, and what's really cool is that they have a dual degree MSW\MFA. The thing is, that although I've been accepted to the MSW program, I still have to apply for the MFA and I'm nervous that I won't get in, since I don't have a strong background in art.
Anyone out there (UPennDesign) MFA students, or has gone through the process of creating and building a portfolio? What is the Admissions Team looking for in a portfolio? What does it mean that my art pieces should have a cohesive theme to them? Is it generally difficult to get into an MFA art program??
