Hi there,

I have admissions to Cal state university east bay and UC Santa Barbara - both for a masters in statistics. Despite scouring the website and rankings, I am not sure which one of them I'd pick.

I plan to get a job in industry after I'm done. PhD is not part of the plan :)

Recommendations on which is better at what would be helpful & if you feel strongly about either university!

Thanks!

UCSB, hands down. Reputation of the department is much better, academic rigor is also substantially greater. Congrats on your admissions!
