hrrgrr Posted April 22, 2010 Posted April 22, 2010 I have been accepted into the TAMU for MS degree in Civil Engineering in fall 2010. But I haven't heard anything on financial assistance. Does anyone have any suggestions on what I should do next. Should I contact professors? or graduate office? Can anyone give me some phone numbers or email address please. It would be a great help. Thanks a lot in advance.
aginath Posted April 22, 2010 Posted April 22, 2010 Did your acceptance include your proposed advisor? https://www.civil.tamu.edu/people/index.aspx Assistantships are (or were) departmental based. So, you need to ask the program coordinator, admin assistant, or your advisor about those possibilities. Otherwise, the OGS listing about funding is here http://ogs.tamu.edu/prospective/financial/fellowship.html
hrrgrr Posted April 28, 2010 Author Posted April 28, 2010 I haven't done anything. All I have done is applied to the university. When filling out the application, I had mentioned that I needed financial assistance and also that I was interested in being considered for TA/RA positions.
