PTS88 Posted July 30, 2020 Posted July 30, 2020 Hey all! So both of these have hefty price tags (needed to apply to all online so in state schools provided little to no options), but I’m hoping that perhaps some insight found here will help me decide. Career changer and older student. Currently in medical world so exposure to patient issues was what encouraged me to jump. Plan has been to become LCSW and ideally open private practice but certain family situations have me considering policy/NGO route as well. Post 9-11 GI Bill will help with some, but definitely not even close to all. CWRU will let me defer until next fall which could change family circumstances in a positive direction, but while CWRU’s rep in the medical and biomed world is phenomenal, I don’t know if the lack of recognition on the macro side is important, especially because I’m waffling a little on my long term professional goals. Any thoughts or feedback on either program would be so appreciated! Thank you!
