Competitive GRE Scores for Sociology/Education

I am diversifying the programs I am sending my apps to across sociology and educational policy PhD programs. I'm looking for top 50 programs could someone tell me what competitive scores would be for these programs. I am not interested in the Ivies or Berkeley, but any other top ranked programs.

I'm a mass comm guy, but thought I possibly wanted to go the educational policy PhD route. I took six hours @ UK, and applied to the program, but didn't get in. I know specifically for UK, they are probably looking at around 1000 total for GRE, but the BIG thing is your personal statement. The grad dean wants to see WHY you're applying, and HOW you fit into UK's program.
