Grad School advice after flunking out

How possible is it to get into CS grad schools after flunking out the first time?  I've been looking up mid-level schools and they all seem especially competitive, to the point where I'm not sure an admissions committee would give me another chance.  Is there anything I can do (short of performing research by myself that would get published) to make my resume more presentable to a graduate school? 

 

To clarify a bit more, I have good GRE scores, bad undergraduate total GPA, good UG CSE GPA, and good Masters GPA.  I failed Graduate School for something similar to plagiarizing.
