GRE VR 152, 54% QR 169, 95% AW 4.0, 57% TOEFL 100 R 25 L 25 S 24 W 26 BA and MA in Applied Statistics (earned in the college ranked between 90 and 95 by 2020 QS asian university rankings) Undergrad GPA 3.78 (major GPA 3.9) Grad GPA is relatively low (3.2), though all courses were marked A+. I got two Fails due to extenuating circumstance. Some prerequisites taken: two undergraduate + one graduate Mathematical Statistics courses (All A+) two Introductory Real Analysis + one Lebesgue integral and Lp space courses (A+, A, A+) three Calculus, one Linear Algebra courses (All A+) 30 stat, math, and computation courses in total Academic works: [1st Author] Under minor revision at Communications for Statistical Applications and Methods [2nd Author] Under review at Statistics since Dec 2018 [2nd Author] published at Korean Party Studies Review, an application paper on topic modeling using LDA in Python [3rd Author] published at Journal of Future Politics Awarded Honorable mention for a poster presentation of research (Korean Statistical Society) Industrial projects Currently working on real-time object detector development, image augmentation, and GPU computing in Python Worked as an assistant researcher in Multi-Drug Resistance Stewardship project. Conducted CDA and machine learning in R, Python in collaboration with developers and infectious disease specialists. Recommendations from A professor I worked with on the first paper A professor I worked with on the second paper Graduate advisor I am currently planning to apply for schools in the range of USNR 60 or lower including GWU, USC, and UCR.
