whooshboosh Posted October 4, 2020 Posted October 4, 2020 "To better support our current students through the global pandemic, admissions for our Ph.D. Program will be paused for the 2021-2022 academic year. We look forward to reopening the admissions process in the fall of 2021. The Sociology Department will be accepting applications to the Master's (Sc.M.) Program in Social Analysis and Research. Please see the program website for more information." - https://www.brown.edu/academics/sociology/programs/phd
Nikasf Posted October 4, 2020 Posted October 4, 2020 Hi! I'm a graduate student at Columbia University's Journalism School, and I'm currently working on an article about the recent pause/reduction in admissions in many humanities programs for the next year. If you're an aspiring who is frustrated by this decision, and would like to chat with me briefly about the situation, please either message me or email me at nika.f@columbia.edu
