Applying to PhD programs offered by my undergraduate department

Question

Hello! I'm planning to apply to the Sociology PhD program in my undergraduate university (I'm also majoring in Sociology as an undergraduate student). I have very good relationships with quite a few sociology professors in this department, and I'm also thinking about indicating one of them as my intended PhD advisor in my application. In this case, will I be in a good chance to get admitted by this program in my undergraduate school?
