Current PhD students at the UC Berkeley Helen Wills Neuroscience Institute are hosting a casual Q&A session via Zoom to answer questions and give advice on the application process!

Note that we only need your email to send you the Zoom link or recording, but there are some optional questions (that will not be tied to your application in any way) to help us figure out what topics to cover in the panel and breakout rooms! Please register to get access to the recording even if you can't tune in live. e are going to do our best to upload a text transcript for the session, but we probably won't have live closed captioning.

Also please note that we have an earlier application deadline than in the past and compared to many other programs. This is because you can only apply to one program at Berkeley, and we want to have time to be able to review and transfer your application to a different program (if you indicated that was an option you were interested in) before their deadline.
