I'm currently four months into my year long service term with AmeriCorps and having some struggles that are making me want to leave the program. My supervisor has created an unhealthy office dynamic, I am working in a very small and isolated community, and I have failed to find any sort of social support network (made worse by the pandemic). I feel that these things are taking a toll on my mental health, but I am worried if I leave early it will reflect poorly on me for grad school admissions. I have already applied to Ph.D. programs and am hoping to attend next fall. Any advice would be greatly appreciated.
