Thoughts from successful MSW applicants?

Hello everyone! 

I am in the process of applying to the online non-BSW program at Laurier. When I first made the decision to apply, I felt pretty confident in what I have to offer (10+ years experience as a teacher, 4 of those years in alternate education with disadvantaged youth; 2 years working overseas in the prison system; plus all the GPA/academic requirements). But... then I discovered this forum and realized just how competitive the program is! 

I'd love to hear from anyone still lingering on GradCafe who was successful, particularly at getting into Laurier's online program. What advice would you give future applicants like me? Words of encouragement?
