cryloren Posted December 16, 2020 Posted December 16, 2020 Hello! I have applied for PhDs in the humanities, this cycles, but I'm also trying to keep my mind open for different options if it doesn't work out for me. I've always had a passion for women's history and medical history, and I considering a career in medicine as well. Recently, I have been thinking about becoming an OB/GYN. However, I have a BA in History and Political Science and exactly 3 gen ed class in science, none in chem or bio. I don't doubt my capabilities - I'm relatively strong in the sciences, but I just opted to do humanities/social sciences during undergrad Has anyone made the transition from humanities to medical? What was your experience like? Did you go back to school before applying for med school? How was your mcat experience?
