Cybersecurity Programs

My undergraduate major is information security and I applied to MS in cybersecurity programs of universities such as CMU, NYU and GIT. To cope with possible risk brought by the pandemic, I also applied to 6 European graduate programs. Till now, I have only got one reject while others' application status remain 'submitted'. Did anyone apply to these programs or similar programs? Have you got admission decisions and how many? If not, how are you feeling?

Also a Cybersecurity applicant. Submitted apps to CMU, GT, and a couple other schools (none international though). What school gave you the rejection? I’m still stuck on “submitted” everywhere lol. Are you going for a specific track/focus?

I have a feeling that a lot of people are applying this year due to dismal job market, lots of GRE waivers, and deferrals from last year/cycle. On the other hand, MS programs might be impacted less since they’re generally cash cows compared to PhDs.

The programs I applied to are all Master's programs, so I expect as little impact on Master's admission as possible. I just find several points about security and I don't expect to stick to a specific focus. The only program which gives me a rejection is Advanced Computer Science(Computer Security track) of the University of Manchester.
