Not sure though for retaking or not (GRE AW)

I scored 560(V)+800(Q)+3.5(AW) in GRE and felt a little bit sad about the result of AW part. I am an international student and have published 3 international journal papers as the first author when doing my MSc in Canada. I wish my publications may be a compensate for the relatively low score in AW part cauz I am thinking at least these papers show my capability of logical writing in English.

I am planning to apply for some top schools in States for Fall 2011, I am really not sure whether or not should retake the GRE to increse the AW part.....

Can anyone offer some thought on this dilemma
