I am a career changer who became a Certified Drug Counselor. I have a BA in Anthropology and a Masters in Humanities. I want to teach Drug Counseling in a Community College ultimately. I am not so interested in the Counseling anymore but I am considering getting a MSW for the College teaching credentials. An MSW also because in my future old age I can Counsel if I must. An MPH is closer to what I know because my previous employment was Anthropology Research and designing social research papers. An MPH also because of the less stress of hearing others stories, where doing MPH research you work on different health topics and also I could become a Health Educator as an MPH. I don't know if MPH holders teach drug counseling specifically. I will be trying to make a good decision because I will be 45 years old when the program starts. Any thoughts?
