In every interview I have done (clinical psych), I have always worn and been told by supervisors or professors to wear business attire. For men this usually consists of dress pants and shoes, a button up with a tie, and a suit jacket. I have had professors say that a jacket is not necessary, but if no jacket then there should definitely be a button up shirt and tie. Of course, if your interview is over Zoom, no need to wear dress pants or shoes unless you really want (I did all my Zoom interviews in sweatpants). Good luck!!
