I was accepted to Elliot for the MA International Science and Technology Policy program with 6k a semester funding and SIPAs MIA program with no funding. My background is working as a software engineer in open source and I am trying to make a career change into working in technology policy. Currently, I am interested in working on user privacy as well as access related to technology infrastructure but am interested in exploring other areas of technology policy as well. I am leaning towards accepting my offer from Elliot but have not been able to find much information on the ISTP program for students and for my interests it does seem like SIPA might have more to offer. Does anyone have an advice or insight into the technology policy side of these programs?
