UofT's Master of Information vs MSc at San Jose State University's in Human Factors/Ergonomics

Hello!

I am a Canadian citizen and I recently got into SJSU's Human Factors/Ergonomics MSc program and University of Toronto's Master of Information with a concentration in UX. I have a psychology background and am interested in pursuing UX Design as a career.

UofT's program has anĀ optional-but-not-guaranteed-internship, but I was wondering whether it would be worth going to SJSU as I would be in the Silicon Valley which would help me gain exposure to internship opportunities at larger US-based companies. However, I'm not entirely sure how that would work if I'm on an F1-visa. There isn't a large difference in tuition so that's not a factor.

Also, would it make a difference if I could get a TN visa on my own after getting my undergrad degree?

I'd appreciate any thoughts, thanks!
