has anyone else found the application to the MA program in Tilburg totally frustrating? I was actually shocked by their total lack of professionalism. when I diligently mailed in all my application information (recommendation letters, GRE, transcripts, passport copy) for review, they emailed me (over a span of a month) requesting that I resubmit each individual document electronically (I had to scan each of them, and this is after admitting to receiving my hard copys!!). They did not respond to my email requests beyond telling me that they needed the documents. They then notified me that my citizenship entry was not valid (I have a dual Canadian/German citizenship) as my German passport had expired. Since it was only expired by two months (I have used it only once in my life) I emailed them suggesting that I intend to renew it and that they can have a copy of my Canadian citizenship if they wish until I receive the new passport. They then notified me that by sending my Canadian passport I would be invalidated for getting the EU rate. I sent them a copy of my Canadian passport (note that they never disputed my German citizenship, I have ample other documentation proving my citizenship that I sent them) where after-which they promptly declined entirely my application saying that it was invalid (or something to that extent). They did not even tell me why this was occurring!!! Not only that but while this whole saga occurred, they were forwarding our correspondence to my father (whom I selected as my emergency contact), agitating him unnecessarily.

Anyone else had a bad experience? I got into my more preferred school in the end but this has really changed my perception of the university's competence and professionalism.
