I'm having a hard time deciding between the 2. It seems that Courant's math ranking is a lot higher than Brown's engineering ranking. On the other hand I've been talking a couple of professors at Brown and I'm very interested in their research, plus I would very much prefer to live in RI instead of NYC. It seems that both have their strengths and I don't know how to weigh them against others, and how important these different factors are when I apply for PhD programs in the future. Any advice would be greatly appreciated.
